Our pieces vary in material to be noted in individual product description. Our quality materials include genuine 18k Gold Vermeil plated on a stamped (S925) Sterling Silver base, Sterling Silver, Stainless steel, PVD plating, Cubic Zirconia and Resin. 

All products are therefore water resistant, can be worn in the shower and will not rust and turn green as we do not use copper or nickel in our pieces.

Gold vermeil our premium plating utilises a thick layer of solid 18k gold (23-30 microns) pressure bonded over a (S925) sterling silver base. PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) technique is used to plate stainless steel materials and has improved scratch and wear resistance.

Gold vermeil plating is designed to last several times longer than “regular plated” or gold-filled jewellery (traditionally being 2-3 microns). Vermeil is stated to be the highest form of plating available before solid gold jewellery.

Care for your jewellery by storing separately in our packaging, ensuring the storage environment is dry and humidity free. Carefully secure jewellery in sealed plastic bag provided, within the jewellery box to avoid exposure to excessive moisture and elements.

Our jewellery can be worn in the shower. However unless an item is solid gold, wear in salt water and chlorine should be avoided. Such signs of this exposure and handling will void your products warranty.

Salt water and chlorine can be extremely harsh on the plating causing your jewellery to lose it's lustre and sacrifice the integrity of the plating and materials. Please consider the exposure and contact of other harsh corrosive products such as perfume, oils, moisturisers and hairspray.

Polish regularly with a microfibre cloth or jewellery polishing cloth to brighten and remove dulling.

For longevity avoid contact with chemicals, perfume, lotions, hand sanitiser, chlorine and salt water.

To ensure your item's colour stays in perfect condition, we recommend removing before sleeping, bathing and swimming.

All House Of Pronounce purchases made through our online store come with a 3 month warranty subject to our T&C’s. This warranty is effective from the date of purchase and covers manufacturing faults and defects in materials which would become evident within this window.

We will offer a repair or replacement once the item has been assessed and proven by our team to be faulty. Please note that wear and tear during the course of normal use is not considered a fault. House Of Pronounce pieces are delicate and should be handled with care.

This warranty does not cover: Loss of jewellery, jewellery worn in chlorine and salt water, chain breakage, deformed or snapped posts due to excessive wear and general wear and tear of plating. General wear and tear includes tarnishing and fading of plated jewellery, and therefore, is not covered by warranty.  

Any repairs requested after the offered 3 month warranty period will require a small repair fee where repair is possible and return postage costs will fall to the responsibility of the customer.
